2020 Events (Covid-19 Update)

August 6 — Everything You Didn’t Know about the Harding Memorial, 6:30 p.m. Harding Presidential Sites Researcher Jon Andersen leads you through the ins and outs of trying to locate and build a huge presidential tomb in your town. No charge. CANCELLED; Will be reschedule.

September 5 — Warren G. Harding Presidential Library & Museum and Harding Home open to public and resume regular schedule. *See PLAN YOUR VISIT on http://www.hardingpresidentialsites.org to learn about purchasing tickets and health regulations.

September 18 — Dedication ceremony for Warren G. Harding Presidential Library & Museum and restored Harding Home. CEREMONY TRANSFERRED TO VIRTUAL EVENT. DETAILS TBA.

October 4 — Front Porch Campaign Revisited, 2 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church parking lot. Join us as we re-enact a shorter version of a 1920 Harding campaign march by walking from the nearby church to the Harding Home (or meet us at the Home) during the 1920 front porch campaign. Stepoff from Epworth is 2:15 p.m. This is a combination Harding Presidential Sites/Marion County Bicentennial event. You’re invited to carry a sign showing your support for Sen. Warren Harding. No charge. CANCELLED.

October 11 – Annual Boy and Girl Scout Pilgrimage, 3 p.m. @ Harding Memorial Presidential Gravesite, no charge. EVENT IS PENDING.

November 5 – Preparing for the Presidency, 6:30 p.m. at the Warren G. Harding Presidential Library & Museum. Researcher Jon Andersen examines the little-talked-about time between Warren Harding’s presidential victory on Nov. 2, 1920 and Inauguration Day on March 4, 1921. No charge.
