The Harding Presidential Sites’ Waffle Breakfast is back in 2022! The breakfast is scheduled for 7:30- 11:30 a.m. on April 9 at the Warren G. Harding Presidential Library & Museum’s beautiful event space.

The waffle breakfast has a special tie to the story of Warren and Florence Harding. Warren’s favorite meal (even at dinnertime) was a waffle topped with chipped beef and gravy. During Harding’s famous front porch campaign of 1920, which ultimately led to the presidency, waffles were a favorite on the menu. Mrs. Harding’s waffle recipe was published in women’s magazines, and people raved about how delicious they were. So, you will be eating waffles made directly from Mrs. Harding’s recipe! Your meal is rounded out with bacon, your choice of strawberry, blueberry and maple syrups, chipped beef and gravy and coffee, tea, water and orange juice.

Cost is $10.00 per adult, and $7 for children ages 4-12. Youngsters under 4 eat for free! You can purchase tickets in person at the Harding Sites, or over the phone at 800-600-6894.  A limited number will be available on the day of the breakfast at the Harding Sites. Raffle tickets will be sold at the breakfast with chances to win such unique experiences as a behind-the- scenes tour of the Harding Memorial, and a private tour of the collections storage area of the presidential library.
